| Secure Wireless Sensors (Automotive) |
|
Sensor testing and use includes automotive sensors and other
non-automotive sensors. These sensor types include thermocouples, transducers,
accelerometers, peizo-electric and acoustic sensors. Pilgrim Technology LLC then
incorporates this sensor technology into the RF platform desired by the customer
and develops software and hardware platforms to accommodate the sensor traffic.

| Multi-Mode Combat ID |
|
Innovative concepts for a combat identification system have been developed for vehicles and aircraft,
leaving the dismounted troops or soldiers without a positive form of friend or foe identification once
dismounted from a vehicle. With an increasing level of awareness this application has the potential to limit the fog of war by working in severe weather, electronic countermeasures and severe field conditions. |

| Micro-MIMO |
| Multiple-Input, Multiple-Output (MIMO) radio technology is already being applied commercially and
given within the consumer market in the 802.11 wireless field. Specific MIMO technology with regard to
sensor networks is beginning due to the possible effective low-power consumption of low-power MIMO
devices as relatively compared to Single-Input, Single-Output (SISO) radio technology. With the focus on
sensor networks and the particularly small size node devices that are densely scattered, and powered by a
possibly irreplaceable battery significant effort is being applied to energy usage and consumption of the
sensor node device. These efforts have resulted in the development of PicoNodes, sized 1cm, and weigh in
less than 100g, cost less than $1, and optimally run with ultra-low power dissipation under 500uW. |

| Wireless Back Bone (Large Acreage) |
|
Monitoring large acreage facilities and providing adequate sensor data through a reliable means of
transmission has been a challenge in past. It has become increasingly more popular with Land
Management agencies, Environmental concerns and the Department of Defense to monitor such areas with
differing types of sensor technology and self powered devices. Supporting a large number of sensor types
and delivering the data in a readable form has also been a challenge. To effectively monitor vast areas a
device capable of wireless transmission along with sensor collection and readability must be produced.
