Secure Wireless Sensors

Utilizing the latest methods and components available, Pilgrim Technology LLC has produced RF designs that allow for transmission of sensor traffic at high rates of speeds over secure wireless networks.

Adding security components to the RF designs allows sensors to be placed in almost any condition without being susceptible to release of information. Security components have been designed around the Federal Government Requirements Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS 140-2) and employ AES algorithms at 256 bits to ensure a high level of encryption. Added to this security layer is a per session key which is not transmitted over a wireless link, thereby ensuring the integrity of the secure channel.

Sensors that have been tested and used include automotive sensors and other non-automotive sensors. These sensor types include thermocouples, transducers, accelerometers, peizo-electric, and acoustic sensors. Pilgrim Technology LLC then incorporates this sensor technology into the RF platform desired by the customer and develops software and hardware platforms to accommodate the sensor traffic.

RF Design components include wireless areas in the 900 MHz and 2.2 GHz spectrum.
