The Michigan Diversification Celebration Awards in Lansing went to those who made a significant contribution to diversifying the state's economy during the past year.

The event to be held on December 6th at the Capitol Rotunda is an opportunity for the Governor, Jim Epolito, our CEO, and Matt Cullen, our board chair, to recognize companies that have contributed to Michigan's diversification in the past year.

Pilgrim Technology has expanded coverage of WiFi Hot Spots throughout Midland. Installed now are Hot Spots Downtown Midland from M-20 to Ace Hardware on Main Street, Northwest Midland with access to some apartment complex and business users, Midland County Fairgrounds, Fairview Plaza and the Midland Community Center. The Midland Community Center, Fair Grounds and Fairview plaza are all recent additions to the expanding Wireless network which supports mobile Laptop users that want access to the Internet and E-Mail.

Pilgrim Technology is providing wireless access for Blue Planet Run officials during throughout the weekend. Wireless access will be used for computer access to register new runners, and for on the spot donations. Blue Planet Run Foundation will also use the wireless access to update run status and condition throughout the day. Pilgrim Technology along with partners Boingo, Mercury Network and Charter will ensure a great deal of coverage at the site throughout the day. Companies and attendees will be able to have access to the Internet for up to a half-hour for free throughout the event.
