What is MiniRaQ™?
The MiniRaQ™ wallmount enclosure system is the first wallmounted enclosure product designed to mount all types of traditional rackmount IT equipment in a vertical orientation. The equipment typically mounted in a MiniRaQ™ would include network switches, battery backup systems (UPS), servers, security systems, set-top boxes, and any other standard rackmount IT gear. There are two critical advantages enabled by mounting equipment vertically:
1. Deployment of best fit product for the application instead of best fit product for the enclosure.
2. Deployment of rackmount equipment where previously impossible due to the greatly reduced depth of the MiniRaQ™ product line.
With MiniRaQ™ you can install the equipment you need to deploy regardless of the equipment depth. Every other wallmount enclosure on the market today requires that you mount the equipment horizontally. The problem with this methodology is the vast majority of traditional enclosures will only accept equipment with a max depth of 24”. There are many switches, UPS units and servers that have a depth exceeding 24”. Only MiniRaQ™ Network will allow you to deploy equipment with depths greater than 24” in a fully secure wallmount enclosure.
The other issue often encountered is IDF/telecomm closets that are so small there’s not enough physical space to install a traditional 24” deep wallmount enclosure. Once again, MiniRaQ™ enables deployment of the required equipment in this space because our 8U fully secure version extends only 18” from the wall. The 4U version extends only 11” from the wall.
MiniRaQ™’s are typically installed in campus-wide IDF closets, remote networking/telecomm closets, or any other environment where deploying rackmountable IT equipment is required but difficult to achieve. Click on the images below for more details about the different models.
